Florida’s LLC filing instructions allow a PO Box for the mailing address, but require a Florida street address for the registered agent. Use the field’s instructions rather than applying one address rule to every field.

A registered agent helps documents reach your business. Your company still needs to identify which reports, taxes, licenses, and responses apply and who will handle them.
Florida annual reports and service fees
The annual report confirms or updates the entity’s information in Sunbiz. It is not a financial statement. An agent’s reminder service does not mean the report has been filed or paid.

The state’s $25 registered agent designation component in the new LLC total is a filing charge. It does not pay a commercial agent’s subscription. Compare the provider’s renewal price, document handling charges, and any separate filing service.

Florida personal income tax and business taxes

Current federal BOI reporting rules
As of October 21, 2026, FinCEN exempts U.S.-created entities from BOI reporting. The final rule took effect August 14, 2026. Certain entities formed under foreign-country law and registered in the United States may still have to report unless an exemption applies.
A Delaware LLC registered in Florida is foreign to Florida for state qualification purposes, but it remains U.S.-created. That differs from a company formed under another country’s law. The owner’s nationality alone does not change where the entity was created.
Keep the Florida annual report and any applicable federal reporting analysis separate. One filing does not replace the other.
